Hi there! My name is Preeya Sillan and I’m glad you’re here. I am passionate about helping people create meaningful lives and be authentic. My desire is to provide a secure space for you to freely explore and get curious about yourself and your needs.

As your therapist, my desire is for you to feel heard, validated and accepted. I aim to bring compassion, insight and relentless curiosity into sessions and use an integrative approach because therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. In sessions, I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including strengths-based, solution-focused, trauma informed, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

 

Talk therapy for individuals

Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is just that - talking! Psychotherapy is a collaborative process based on our relationship and I’ll provide a supportive, nonjudgmental and safe space for you to talk openly. We’ll work together to identify and change patterns that are keeping you from feeling your best.

Therapy is a safe place to work through emotional challenges, learn to navigate your feelings and relate to your thoughts differently so you can live the life you truly want.

 

Sessions are also available online

Great news! Therapy sessions are also available online. This means you can participate in therapy from the comfort of your home or office.

Online therapy could be a good fit if you:

  • Have an unpredictable schedule

  • Are a student

  • Have physical limitations

  • Do not have easy access to preferred clinicians (i.e. living in a smaller town or a remote/rural area)
